Shauna drops the laptop. It shatters. But the disc remains intact, spinning on the floor like a possessed top. Her phone buzzes. A text from an unknown number: “You watched the director’s cut. Now you owe the wilderness. 50 days.” Shauna looks up. In the reflection of a broken mirror shard, she sees the hooded figure standing behind her — but when she whirls around, no one is there.

It’s the same day as Episode 6 — the cabin, the snowstorm, Shauna screaming in labor. But this angle is new. A shaky, intimate handheld shot from Lottie’s perspective. Lottie whispers into the lens: “The wilderness chose this moment. We need to record the offering.”
