The raw, unprocessed sound of his voice—the pure, dry, un-VST’d audio—rippled through the system like a antivirus. The plugins screeched. shrunk back into its knob. REVERB-O-TRON 5000 collapsed into a single millisecond of delay. GLITCH BUNNY turned into a normal, boring compressor.

The screen flickered. The plugins began to talk .

“Whoa,” Marco whispered.

The real chaos began when he installed . It was a plugin with no knobs, only a single button that said “CHEW.” Every time he pressed it, the plugin would randomly rearrange his drum loop, replace his snare with the sound of a microwave beeping, and add a vinyl crackle that sounded suspiciously like his mother sighing.

Adobe Audition’s infamous spinning blue wheel of death appeared. But this one was different . It was spinning backwards. And it had a tiny, angry face.
