ASTM E466-15 - 1.5.2015

Significance and Use

4.1 The axial force fatigue test is used to determine the effect of variations in material, geometry, surface condition, stress, and so forth, on the fatigue resistance of metallic materials subjected to direct stress for relatively large numbers of cycles. The results may also be used as a guide for the selection of metallic materials for service under conditions of repeated direct stress.

Vixenp Solo -

(spoken, low) They wanted a pack. I gave them a ghost. Solo doesn’t mean lonely — it means no one tells me where to post.

(over fading synth hum) One tail flick. System crash. Goodnight. If you meant a different “Vixenp” — please give me the source or a link description, and I’ll tailor it exactly. vixenp solo

(Slow, prowling bassline. Lights up on a lone figure center stage.) (spoken, low) They wanted a pack

Sharp ears cut the silence — I don’t wait for the moon. Every shadow wears my name tonight, every lock picks too soon. (over fading synth hum) One tail flick

For now, here’s a in the style of a dramatic solo performance titled “Vixenp” : [Vixenp — Solo Piece]

Call me Vixenp — the spark and the slip, the red on the edge of your screen. I run alone where the signal’s blown, and I leave you guessing what I mean.

4.3 The results of the axial force fatigue test are suitable for application to design only when the specimen test conditions realistically simulate service conditions or some methodology of accounting for service conditions is available and clearly defined.
