If you have an older toilet, low-flow toilet, or any plumbing that’s even slightly touchy, stick with septic-safe , quick-dissolve toilet paper. Look for “RVs and boats” on the label – that stuff breaks apart in seconds. Fancy thick TP is just a clog waiting to happen.
We switched to a popular “ultra-plush,” “quilted,” “luxury” toilet paper last week. Big mistake. Within days, our toilet started draining slowly. Then came the dreaded plunger workout. Finally, a full clog – water rising to the rim.
