Sing convinces Fung to coach his team of six Shaolin brothers, each a master of a specific kung fu style (Iron Head, Hanging Hammer, etc.). Together, they form a soccer team and compete in a tournament. Their main rivals are , a chemically enhanced team coached by Fung’s former teammate, Hung (Patrick Tse), who uses performance-enhancing drugs and illegal tactics.
