Encore discovers an old hard drive from before the crash. On it: a half-finished, venomous diss track aimed at a now-deceased rival MC. Encore doesn’t remember writing it. The voice in the headphones starts reciting the diss track verbatim, then adds new bars — revealing that the truck that hit him wasn’t an accident. It was arranged. The voice is the ghost of that rival, trapped in the latency of the recording equipment.
Silence.
Encore walks out of the booth. Calm asks, “Track save hua?” Encore smiles weakly. “Haan. Pehli baar sahi sunai de raha hai.” But as he leaves, the camera lingers on the recording console.
