One of the first to receive a seedling was Mark, a Horizons West resident who had been eyeing the garden project from the start. A retired chef, Mark had a passion for cooking and was eager to grow his own ingredients. He envisioned harvesting fresh tomatoes, basil, and lettuce for his famous summer salads.
