HDTC stands for High Definition Texture Compilation (though some users colloquially refer to it as “Heretic Dynamic Texture Cache” or simply “the Heretic HD pack”). It is a community-driven, ongoing effort to completely overhaul the visual presentation of Heretic while preserving its original gameplay and level geometry.
