O Muslims, fear Allah and know that time is life. First Khutbah الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ، وَنَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شُرُورِ أَنْفُسِنَا وَمِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ أَعْمَالِنَا، مَنْ يَهْدِهِ اللَّهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ. Fear Allah, O servants of Allah. Know that this world is a temporary provision, but the Hereafter is the eternal home. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Two blessings which many people waste: health and free time.” Be content and grateful, not neglectful and regretful.
O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]. O mankind, fear your Lord who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and spread from them many men and women. And fear Allah through whom you ask one another, and [fear severing] family ties. Indeed Allah is ever watchful over you.
