Adobe® Acrobat®: Xi Printer
Over the next hour, Arthur became a magician. He opened a crumpled receipt from a taxi ride, took a photo with his webcam, pasted it into a blank Word doc, and hit Print → Adobe PDF . The receipt straightened itself, the ink darkening as if brand new.

Arthur looked. The icon in the Devices folder was no longer grey. It pulsed with a soft, amber light. The next morning, the IT guy reinstalled the printer driver
He found a handwritten contract on yellow legal paper. He typed over it in a clean text box, then printed it to the Adobe PDF printer. The handwriting vanished; crisp, searchable text appeared in its place. He could copy and paste from handwriting.
He printed another test page—a silly doodle of a cat. The chime sounded. A save window appeared. He saved it to his desktop. It opened fine.
But then he heard a knock.
